Situation
A confidential client (manufacturing) was acquiring a small but innovative biotech company. In addition to the standard real estate environmental due diligence they also wanted to get a pulse on the comprehensiveness & compliance of their H&S program. The site was a little over 5,000 sq ft, a hybrid laboratory and manufacturing site.
TASK
- Review public records for regulatory agency compliance
- Perform administrative audit of H&S program (records, plans, programs)
- Interview leadership & employees and audit real-time conditions.
- Identify gaps in H&S program and identify corrective actions.
ACTION
Result
- Integrated LEAN as framework to bring visibility to current state vs. desired state
- Identified key gaps in H&S program with actionable steps to elevate and sustain compliant and scaleable H&S program.
- Trained & educated employees, as needed.
